Vote for your future
Ahead of Israel’s coming election, a personal argument for judging political choices by what they will do for our lives and our children’s future.
Everyone is preoccupied with the fate of the leaders, with emotion and identification.
Emotion and identification matter, but in Israel's coming election I'm asking you for one thing: don't think about the fate of the leaders. "What do they deserve?" is the unimportant question that so many people ask, and a vote is neither a reward nor a punishment.
Put yourselves at the centre and ask a single question: what, and who, will function well in every area to look after your future and your children's future. Then go and vote.
